Boarding your horse at Somerset Farms

Here is what you can expect from our care.

Daily turnout (7am-11am) in small groups, individual turnout available
10x12 stalls with runs in the main barn, and 12x12 run in sheds in the shed row. All stalls including the shed row have automatic heated waters, rubber mats and are bedded with wood shavings. Stalls are cleaned daily and bedded as needed
Other services include blanketing, and booting up for turnout. Upon request the barn manager administers medications

Board Fees:

Indoor stall with run $600
Shed-row stall with run $560
Multiple horse discount of 10% for 3 or more horses

Additional fee-for-services available:

Holding your horse for vet or farrier $30
Administering medications $10/application
Hand-walking $1/ minute
Horse Transport: $1/mile + $25 driver fee($50 min)
Horse-Walker: $10 per session - up to 1 hour

Feeding options

Feed options include Strategy, Santero and Equine Senior. The barn also offers wheat bran, beet pulp and extruded soy to the boarders as a supplement of choice. We offer grass hay. Supplements are fed on owner's request once or twice a day.

Indoor Arena

Somerset Farms offers a 20m by 60m Indoor arena with a slanted kick rail and mirrors
The arena also has two viewing areas and a heated lounge

Outdoor Arenas

There are a total of 3 outdoor arenas:

Jumping arena with sand footing and a full jumping course.
Exercise arena with crushed granite, rubber and woodchip mixture
Full size dressage arena.

Grooming

A heated grooming barn is available for all boarders and includes 2 tack-up areas and two wash stalls with hot water.
The main barn features tack-up areas throughout.
Outdoor boarders have two tack up areas with heat lamps.
